Ironclad Construction Co. believes everyone should be able to learn about our work, request an estimate, apply for a job, and communicate with our team without barriers. We are continually improving the accessibility of our website and the way we serve clients, applicants, and visitors.
Website Accessibility
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. Our ongoing efforts include:
- A logical heading structure and clearly labeled navigation, so pages can be navigated with a screen reader.
- Form fields with visible labels, and clear messages when information is missing or incorrect.
- Links, buttons, menus, and expandable FAQ answers that can be operated with a keyboard.
- Accessible names for icon-only buttons and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- A responsive layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and browser zoom.
- Phone and email alternatives on every page for anyone who prefers not to use online forms.
Accessible Services
If you need an accommodation to work with us, just let us know. We are happy to:
- Take estimate requests, job applications, and warranty requests by phone or email instead of online forms.
- Provide proposals, contracts, and project documents in larger print or alternative electronic formats on request.
- Meet at an accessible location of your choice or hold project meetings by phone or video.
- Arrange accessible routes and an escort for site walkthroughs where conditions allow.
Building Accessible Spaces
Accessibility is part of how we build, too. Our commercial projects are designed and built to the ADA Standards for Accessible Design and applicable state and local accessibility codes. Our renovation services also include accessibility upgrades for ADA compliance, such as accessible entrances, restrooms, and routes for existing buildings and homes.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible:
- The embedded Google Maps view on our Contact page is provided by a third party and may not be fully accessible. Our address is always listed as text next to the map.
- Some page sections fade in as you scroll. If motion is distracting, please contact us and we will provide the information in another format.
- Older project photos and downloadable documents may lack detailed descriptions. We will describe or convert any of them on request.
