Our Story
Two Decades of Building Trust
Ironclad Construction Co. was born in a two-car garage in Austin, Texas in 2003. Founder James Harrington, a third-generation builder, had a singular mission: to create a construction firm that combined old-school craftsmanship with modern project management rigor.
Starting with residential renovations, we earned a reputation for quality and transparency that spread by word of mouth. By 2008, we had expanded to commercial projects. By 2015, we were operating across the entire Southwest with a team of 200+ skilled professionals.
Today, with over 500 completed projects and $2.4 billion in delivered construction value, Ironclad remains an independent, family-guided company — driven by the same values that started it all.
